Ruslaan, a film revolving around train blasts on July 11, 2006 in Mumbai, is fast moving towards completion. Produced by Jagdish Sharma and Mukesh Sharma and directed by Mohan Sharma, the film stars Rajveer Sharma, Megha Chatterjee, Asrani, S.M. Zaheer, Smita Jaykar, Ganesh Yadav, Rajendra Sharma, Rajan Sharma, Prithvi Zutshi, Shabnam Kapoor, Annaya and Tanveer.

'NAUGHTY @ FORTY' LONDON SPELL ENDS
Producer Sanddeep Kapur, in association with Anuj Sharma, has successfully completed an 18-day shoot of Naughty @ Forty at various locations of London with Govinda. The next schedule will be shot at various locations in India. Produced under the banner of Promodome and Sishty Creations, this film is directed by Jagmohan Mundra, it has music by Monty Sharma and choreographer is Pony Verma. Cast: Govinda, Ayesha Takia, Anupam Kher and Shakti Kapoor.

FILM ANNOUNCED
Writer-producer-director S.U. Sayyed, after completing his current film AB AYA NA MAZA, has announced his next movie, S.U. Films International’s Production No. 2. Amit Sharma, Suman Negi, Sahiba and Jamal Khan have been signed. Dialogues: Anand Mohan and Jaffer. The movie will be shot in Delhi and Haryana.

'PREET HI POOJA' MAHURAT PERFORMED
Prerna Shri Film’s maiden venture PREET HO POOJA was launched with a mahurat at Sai Kripa Hotel, Goregaon on 4th June. On the occasion, chief guest Parmeshwari Jee Maharaj performed the pooja ceremony. Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Sonia Sahani, Ram Avtar and others were present. Directed by Jagdish Singh and J.P. Verma and produced by Vijay Kumar Kumawat, it has music by Aman Shlok. Co-producer: Virender Kumar Dubey. Cast and other credits are being finalized. The film will mount the sets in September in Jaipur and Sikar with start-to-finish shooting.

'AISI DEEWANGI' BACKGROUND MUSIC
The recording of background music of Jhanji Films P. Ltd.’s AISI DEEWANGI has started at Sight and Sound Studios. Produced by Sanjeev Jhanji and directed by Abdool Kayum, it stars Sarwar Ahuja, Sanjeev Kumar, Simran Sachdeva, Divya Dwivedi, Kiran Kumar, Mushtaque Khan, Avtar Gill, Vishwajeet Pradhan, Bharat Kapoor, Sana Khan, Master Karan, Mayuri Soni, Sahiba, Habib Airdoos, Mukesh Raj, Preeti Arora, Madhvendra, Ehsaan Khan and Pankaj Berry. RATAN JAIN COLLABORATES WITH HOLLYWOOD BIGGIE JENNIFER LYNCH
A Hollywood director will soon embark on a Bollywood film. Jennifer Lynch, daughter of four times Oscar nominee and two times Cannes Film Festival winner David Lynch, is all set to shoot a Hindi language Bollywood film. Interestingly, her debut venture is about a subject that has always intrigued the West. The film is called Naagin-The Snake Woman and brings back to life the ancient myth concerning the Naag-Naagin relationship.

Lynch’s last film Surveillance, starring Bill Pullman and Julia Ormand, was premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in May this year.

Mallika Sherawat has been zeroed in for the title role of the Naagin. The film also stars Irrfan Khan in the role of a cop, who has been given the task to pin down the Naagin and destroy her legendary powers. Hollywood’s special effects wizard Robert Kurtzman has been roped in to create some unbelievable graphics. Kurtzman, who has worked with the likes of Quentine Tarantino and Robert Rodriquez, has been a writer himself. The film From Dusk Till Dawn has been written by him.

Produced by Ratan Jain’s Venus Records & Tapes, Naagin-The Snake Woman has Vikram Singh and Govind Menon as its co-producers. Director of Photography: Madhu Ambat. Sound Effects: Patrick Girardi. Shooting starts in various locations and sets in the last week of July, in a start-to-finish schedule.

Casting is currently on for the rest of the parts in the film.

PERCEPT, MADHUR ANNOUNCE 'JAIL'
Percept Picture Company announced its next film with Madhur Bhandarkar, JAIL, on July 9 at an event in Bandra. Neil Nitin Mukesh is the protagonist. Shooting of the film will begin from October this year. The film is scheduled for a 1st May 2009 release.
